This is a very full-bodied stout with a sweet, richly roasted malt taste and a bitter hops aftertaste.  The color is an opaque black, with a thick head and malt nose.  This is the best U.S.-made stout we've tasted, and is better than all but a small handful of foriegn (primarily British) stouts.
